Pencil-thin Keira Knightley claimed she would rather have the physique of a big girl–specifically, the actress said she would like to look like disgusting monster Beth Ditto from The Gossip.
Talking about seeing Ditto at a Gossip gig she told Elle magazine: ‘When she was performing she started taking all her clothes off. I stood there watching her strip, thinking, ‘Oh my God, that woman is so sexy.’
Really? Because when I watch Beth Ditto strip, I think, “Oh my God that woman just made me throw up in my own mouth.”

Keira Knightly says that because she has no idea what it’s like to be a big girl.
Also, I don’t know this Beth Ditto but I do think it’s pretty awesome that she’s a big girl and she doesn’t give a shit what anyone thinks of her. She’s comfortable with herself.
That being said, I think she could look a lot better if she stopped wearing some of the crap she wears.

Her attitude and music are sexy, I’ll grant that. Sexiness isn’t always about appearance. But I’m sure plenty of people find her physically hot.

it’s definitely admirable that she has the confidence to strip in public, let alone do it while being so big.
but would it be attractive if someone as thin as keira knightley was up there stripping and acting all weird?
ditto seems to have something to prove, and that shouldn’t be mistaken for being sexy. she seems to be trying to look as gross as she can, actually.

Pleeeezzzeee don’t put anymore pictures like this on your site! That gal is so incredibly UNattractive- she’s down right hard to look at. So young, and putting so much stress on her heart and body with all that fat. Go pick up a sack of potatoes at the grocery store and CARRY it around with you the whole time…that’s only 10 POUNDS! I see early death when I look at her. So sad…

Okay, I have met Beth Ditto and have seen her in concert several times. She is very sweet and very talented. Those pictures are NOT representative of what she’s “usually like”. Yes, she does take off some clothes on stage but it’s not so much, “watch me sexily strip” so much as “it’s hot in here and I need to take this off”. She actually has a great sense of humor and her music is very powerful. Any show I’ve seen her play, she is up there dancing and singing her heart out for the entire show and ends up covered in sweat. So, girlfriend gets a good workout AND she’s totally not a slob. Those pictures were definitely taken in jest.
