After Judge Michael Sauer handed down a stiff 45 day jail sentence to Paris Hilton on Friday, then attention quickly turned from the crying Paris to her angry mother, Kathy Hilton. Kathy wasn’t shy about letting her feelings being known on the judge’s decision.

Minutes before the sentence was handed down, according to Edwards, Hilton made the sign of the cross with her right hand, then kissed her fingers.

Judge Sauer was particularly stern with his comments to Hilton, whom, he said, “disregarded everything” by repeatedly driving with a suspended license.

After the general public had cleared the courtroom, Hilton began to tear up. Sheriffs brought her a box of Kleenex, and she held a wad of tissues to her face as she placed her head down.

Then, said Edwards, Hilton’s mother, Kathy Hilton, angrily burst from the courtroom seating area toward the attorneys’ table, saying loudly, “I can’t believe this, I can’t believe this.”

She went over to her daughter’s side, standing over her and putting her arm around Paris as others crowded around her.

Eventually, Paris stood and was hugged by her father, Rick Hilton, who said, “I can’t believe this, either.”

“I don’t know what happened,” said Paris. “I did what they said.”

Kathy Hilton, red in the face, then walked up to one of the prosecutors and screamed, “You’re pathetic.” She then asked sarcastically, “Can I have your autograph?”

The prosecutor to whom Hilton had delivered her outburst completely ignored her, said Edwards.

About half a dozen sheriffs’ deputies then approached Kathy Hilton, who screamed at them, “Don’t you touch me, don’t you touch me.”

As the family was about to exit the courtroom, said Edwards, Kathy Hilton declared for all to hear, “[The judge] made up his mind before he even came in today. If it were anyone else, this would’ve never had happened.”

She then exclaimed, “And after all the money we spent!”

I understand being upset about your dumbass daughter’s jail sentence, but to bring up “all thy money” you’ve spent on defending her is just tasteless. Homegirl should have been jailed for contempt of court.

Paris spoke out the next day to the press gathered around her home, saying she felt the sentence was unfair.

“I told the truth yesterday. I feel that I was treated unfairly.” Hilton called the sentence “both cruel and unwarranted” and added “I don’t deserve this.”

Yes, you’re such a victim of the penal system, Paris. Hopefully this will teach you not to sign shit before you read it.

I’m so damn tired of celebrities not taking responsibility for their actions. WTF? So you told the truth finally and now you think that they should say “Oh okay, you’re fine just go home”? No dumb ass, you drove drunk and got your license suspended then you drove on that suspended license. You’re lucky 45 days is all you got. And the judge handed down a sentence that anyone EVERYONE else would’ve gotten. Not fair? What’s not fair is that celebrities get away with what they do and don’t have to pay for it. Thankfully, this judge isn’t swayed by her “celebrity” Good for him.

(now, let me tell you how I REALLY feel :::blush::: )

Her mom’s reaction was about as Beverly Hills textbook as you can get. Some people need to get out more and separate from the pretend worlds in which they live. My brother got two DUIs and had to go to jail for 30 days. My dad wad PISSED and no one felt he was treated unfairly. She sux.
