Congrats to Ashley Judd: her racecar driver hubby, Dario Franchitti won the 91st Annual Indy 500 yesterday.
“The ups and downs throughout the day, what can I say?” Franchitti said, according to the Indianapolis Star. “I’m in shock right now, it’s been a rollercoaster month, and it was a rollercoaster day.”
“It was going to come down to a dogfight, and there’s a lot of strong cars,” he said, the Associated Press reports. “Whatever happened, if it came down to that dogfight, it was going to be hard, so I was hoping for the rain.”
As Franchitti made a victory lap of the 2.5-mile oval in the heavy rain, Judd, soaking wet in a summer dress, climbed the pit wall and dashed toward the victory celebration.
“I can hardly believe it,” Franchitti added of his win. “Who would have thought it?”
Ashley and the Scottish-born Dario have been married almost six years. This is the second win for his team in three years.

I know she was excited for him BUT she’s always in the spotlight; couldn’t she have just given HIM a little time to be in the spotlight? Also, I think she is gorgeous but that is the fugliest dress I’ve seen in a lo-o-ong time.

This Jade person isn’t fit to clean Ashley Judd’s toilet. I have a lot of respect for Ashley after going public with her personal troubles with co-dependency, etc. — she helped shine a light on some issues. Ashley is “hawt” and so is her husband.

Ashley Judd is a very sweet and humble actress, when they announced to her over a radio phone interview that she was in a mag’s top 100 sexiest women she said: “ugh! How gross is that.” She was completely disgusted…she is not an attention whore, ya’ll!!!

I heard Ashley on NPRs “Car Talk” discussing her husband and the little discussions they have about cars. That woman is a class act on and off the screen. She loves her man and supports him all the way, knowing that she’s damned if she does, damned if she doesn’t show up. If you want to pick on someone … how about the Hollywood Bitch Pack? that could take a lifetime.
