It looks as if Paris Hilton’s “Get Out of Jail” bash is going to happen; according to Us Weekly, the heiress will host her post-prison party at the Palms in Las Vegas, shortly after she’s released from jail.
An insider tells US the 26-year-old nightlife lover is being paid $800,000 by Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel Casino to host her own “Get Out of Jail” soiree
this summer and a New Year’s Eve bash.“It was in the works and signed before she went to jail,” says the source.
In other Paris news, her parents reportedly skipped the line while visiting her in jail on Tuesday. This caused others to complain of preferential treatment at the jail.
One visitor to the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles, Alvina Floyd, told the Associated Press she waited more than four hours, as opposed to the usual two, and blamed the Hiltons for the delay.
“I have to be at work later,” she said. “I can’t wait here all day.”
Another visitor, Shatani Alverson, told the AP she was asked to leave the jail’s visiting room soon after her husband walked in because of the Hiltons. She was told to return after lunch.
Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said high-profile inmates routinely receive visitors during lunch, when the visiting area is typically cleared out and closed.
Similar accusations were launched last weekend after Paris’ sister Nicky and ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos also reportedly jumped ahead in line while visiting.
