Oh, How Cold: Angelina Jolie Doesn’t Say ‘I Love You’

In the July issue of Marie Claire Magazine, Angelina Jolie admitted she and partner Brad Pitt don’t tell each other “I love you.” Um, weird.
“I don’t think we’ve ever said (I love you) the actress reveals in the July issue of Marie Claire. “I mean, I’m sure we have, but we would have to punch each other in the arm first.”
Strange admissions aside, photographers snapped Angelina carrying Zahara and Pax to school in Prague on Monday.

Saying you love someone is sooo retrograde. It’s 2007; who even *does* that, anymore.

They have to punch each other in the arm first? So, they’re incapable of being sincere? I’m sure that’ll bode well for the future.

Look at Pax trying to steal Z’s thunder! She’s the one who points and smiles at the paparazzi not you, Pax! Find your own thing!
Also, I do think it’s weird they don’t say it. Like, really weird.

i think the media should give angela a break. she has been so kind to al those poor orphans. like you said, love is unspoken.

Not being able to come out and say I love you without joking around first doesn’t necessarily make them insincere. Maybe she’s just not comfortable expressing her feelings. With my fiancee, I joke around a lot about it. I don’t really say “I love you” to anyone — when I talk to family and they say it, I say “Yep, me too”. Its not that I dont’ have feelings or that I’m insincere…just that it makes me uncomfortable to talk about them. And the people that care about me know I care…I just don’t talk about it.
