Joanne Sarantakos, the secret wife of magician Criss Angel, filed for divorce yesterday in a Long Island court. Sarantakos claimed Angel hid their 15 year relationship in order to boost his appeal to women. Apparently that move worked: Angel reportedly became engaged to Minnie Driver last year. That relationship ended when he hooked up with Cameron Diaz.
Sarantakos attorney, Dominic Barbara, claimed he intends to subpoena Diaz to have her testify about her relationship with Angel in order to support Sarantakos’ allegations of mental cruelty and abandonment on Angel’s part.
Angel, who changed his name from Sarantakos and moved to Las Vegas after he hit the big time with his TV show “Mindfreak,” kept his wife of five years “as a secret” to increase his sex appeal to female fans, Barbara said. The couple had a 15-year relationship, he said.
“We’re naming Cameron Diaz as his lover,” Barbara told the court. “We will subpoena her as soon as she comes back to New York.”
Later, he said he’d had Angel tailed by a private investigator for six months.
Angel’s lawyer, Elliot Weiner, did not deny the adultery allegation.
Barbara also said that Angel continued to have an “abusive” relationship with his wife, 37, and refused to give her a cent, despite the fact he made $7 million last year and has just signed a $200 million contract with a Vegas casino.
“He’s not paying her support, which is tragic, considering his worth,” said Barbara.
He said that Angel, 39, promised his wife he would send her a $7,000 check for household expenses but it never arrived.
Angel and Diaz’s blossoming romance first hit Page Six about a month ago.
The wandering conjurer praised Diaz as “one of the most beautiful actresses - A-list actresses - in Hollywood” earlier this month when he dedicated a Houdini-like escape illusion to her in Manhattan.
Angel and Diaz hooked up in Las Vegas last May. Shortly after, Angel dedicated a stunt in which he escaped from a concrete block suspended over Times Square to Diaz. Angel told the crowd, ”I’d like to dedicate this to my girl Trouble, a.k.a Cameron. I love you, baby.” Cute.

What a douche. She probably waited it out because he promised her $$$ and when it didn’t show, she squealed. Fucked up shit.
And Cameron is still a North Long Beach skank in my book.. i remember her, i didn’t like her when i was 14, and im sure i wouldn’t like her now.

She actually filed for divorce over a year ago, and right now shes just trying to suck all of his money out of him despite him supporting her to begin with.

omg i knew bout Cameron but not Minnie guess i was in rehab or sumthing….neways that makes my view of him change and fast….
