Oh, that wacky Tom Cruise… The actor recently began filming his controversial project “Valkyrie” in Berlin. The movie is based on a true story about German officers who plotted during the height of WWII to assassinate Adolf Hitler.
Tom posed in character as Count Claus von Stauffenberg for a publicity still. von Stauffenberg was an actual person, an aristocratic colonel in the Nazi army who almost succeded in killing Hitler.

As the wife of a very knowledgeable WWII history buff, I have a feeling this will be a HORRIBLE movie.

I just realized how stupid that sounds. What I meant is that I’ve learned a lot about WWII FROM him and feel like it will be crap-tacular.
