Photographers spotted Nicole Richie at Neil George Salon in Beverly Hills yesterday, looking healthy and dressed impeccably. Sources said Nicole, who is currently four months pregnant, opted to not get roots touched up while visiting her hairdresser.
“If you dye your hair three times while you’re pregnant, that’s the equivalent of smoking one to four cigarettes,” Dr. Jeanine Downie, a dermatologist and the director of Image Dermatology in Montclair, N.J., said.

A) I don’t know if it’s b-s. Most women DO NOT dye their hair while pregnant. But it’s to avoid unnecessary chemicals. I’ve never heard of that smoking stat in my life.
