Oh Lordy: the judge presiding over the Phil Spector murder case declared a mistrial this afternoon after the jury became hopelessly deadlocked.

After 12 days of deliberations, the jurors were stuck at a 10-2 vote, but didn’t say which way they were leaning (I think we can all guess, however.)

A spokeswoman for the LA District Attorney’s Office claimed they intend to re-try Phil Spector for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson. Both sides are due back in court on October 3rd.
