According to OK! Magazine, Kate Hudson split with boyfriend Dax Shepard. The mis-matched couple began dating last summer, shortly after Kate’s break up with Owen Wilson. Unfortunately for Dax, this was apparently not a long enough period of time to make Kate feel she needed to call him herself when she was ready to stop seeing him.

“Dax got a phone call about it from a friend,” a source close to the Employee of the Month star reveals to OK!. “He’s upset that she didn’t bother to say anything to him.”

Kate has been spotted chilling with billionaire Ron Burkle, perhaps an even more random fella than Dax.
