Kevin Federline’s attorney offered words of thanks to Gloria Allred’s “secret witness.” Britney Spears’ former bodyguard, Tony Barretto, came forward, with the help of Allred, to offer testimony that Britney displayed bizarre behavior in front of her two children. Kevin’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said Tony’s testimony didn’t affect the judge’s ruling yesterday, but he appreciated Tony coming foward.
“I appreciate Gloria Allred facilitating her client coming forward when he did. Today’s proceedings did not involve his testimony. He may be called as a witness in the future.”
Tony gave a statement to reporters yesterday saying he was sorry Britney lost custody of Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, but he feels it was in the children’s best interest.
“As the parent of two young children myself, I am sad to learn that Britney will no longer have custody of her children,” Barretto told reporters. “However, I am happy to know that her children will now have a safe and more stable environment. I believe that Britney loves her children but I was concerned about some of her behavior in which I believe endangered them. Because of this new court order, Britney will seek and receive the help which she obviously needs so that one day, she can be reunited with her children.”
Although she gave her kids up yesterday, photographers snapped a photo of a smiling Britney just a few hours later.

Why? Because he told the truth to protect two little kids?
Yeah, HUGE douche. Only a real asshole would try to help get kids out of an unstable environment.
whatever.

He’s a publicity hound. He couldn’t care less about those kids. The mere fact he hired Gloria Allred and went on a press junket speaks volumes.

Honestly, whatever his intentions were, publicity hound or not, he DID come forward and that is really all that matters here. The kids are no longer in her care and it doesn’t really matter why or how.
