Congrats to Anthony Kiedis: the Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman became a first time father today when girlfriend Heather Christie gave birth to a baby boy. Everly B (yup, that’s what they’re calling him) was born at Cedar Sinai Medical Center early this morning.
I give the kid two years before he’s hooked on smack.

I don’t think you should judge him so severly.
He’s changed a lot within the last few years and consequently what he wanted to have was a family or at least someone to take care of - Everly B. I think he’s a really smart guy and chose the right moment to become a father. And the name? It’s rather typical “among” Chilli Peppers -look at Sunny Bepop for example. They ( both Flea and Ant) simply wanted to express some ideas that not necessarily are abvious to us through those names. I think that’s only this.

Between the name, the age gap and Heather’s looks, I’ve read some really nasty comments about them, but ‘I give the kid 2 years before he’s hooked on smack’ is possibly the most vile thing I’ve read yet. Nice reporting Alyk, I doubt many people will be impressed by that.
