According to TMZ, Britney Spears applied for a job as a bartender at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica, CA. Britney reportedly turned up at the Viceroy around 10:30pm on Thursday and asked to speak with the bartender on duty. Oh my God.
We’re told Spears told the bartender she wanted to do what she did — then asked for and obtained an application from the night manager to work in the hotel’s “Cameo Bar.”
We’re told the application is currently with Human Resources. The hotel website says the bar “serves imported and California wines, premium well drinks and appetizers … signature drinks include Blood Orange, Key Lime and Raspberry Lemon Drop martinis.”
This a completely bonkers idea for many reasons, chief among them: Britney must undergo drug and alcohol testing 12 hours before she’s allowed to visit her children. Yeah.

There’s this random bar down the street from me that I never ever went into (and walked past every day for the five years). If Brit got a job there, I would totally go inside.

…. just frikin LEAVE her the heck alone! seriously… seriously…. i mean.. this girl hasnt had the best childhood, or best upbringing coz she’s been in the public eye for so long…. and now people wont give her a break for being human!… frikin … SHUT UP! … i’d love for all u to go through what she’s been through…
