Colin Farrell participated in a panel discussion this week at a Border’s Bookstore in NYC for Eoin Colfer’s best-selling Artemis Fowl series.
I honestly have no idea what he was doing there, but he looked kinda hot.

Yeah, I kind of want to do dirty things to him when he looks like this.
He’s so hit or miss for me. Sometimes I wanna jump on him and other times, I want to run screaming.

Shouldn’t you like… read books… before you’re allowed to like… comment on them and sit on a panel about them and stuff?
Just a thought.

Actually, this was for an event to promote CLICK, a book benefitting Amnesty International, written by ten authors - Eoin Colfer, Roddy Doyle, Ruth Ozeki, Linda Sue Park, David Almond, Deborah Ellis, Tim Wynne-Jones, Gregory Maguire, Margo Lanagan, and Nick Hornby. The book is a jump story, with each author contributing a chapter. Colin was there because he’s mentioned in Roddy Doyle’s chapter, and because he’s a supporter of Amnesty International. It’s a great book, and the proceeds go to a wonderful cause.

Oh, and I should say that Colin was there to introduce Amnesty International to the audience, and because his presence draws lots of press and photographers, and that’s good for the book and for Amnesty. And, specifically to Munke, it was not only really nice of him to come, but his introduction to Amnesty and to the panel was both articulate and thought-provoking.

The guy really has a lot of hair (although I suppose he did have longer hair for the Miami Vice film a few years back.) Wonder what role he’s playing in the Artemis Fowl film?
