According to Page Six, Amanda Bynes kinda made an ass out of herself at the Turks & Caicos Film Festival last week. The big-time star of such hits as She’s the Man and What a Girl Wants reportedly had some big-time diva demands for staffers at the tiny film festival, four first-class plane ticket and two double hotel suites. Event organizers alleged she failed to show at any of the scheduled events she committed herself to.

“I literally didn’t see her for days after she arrived at the hotel,” the organizer told Page Six’s Marianne Garvey. “Everyone was wondering where she was. She was off jet-skiing, treating it like a vacation.”

Bynes stayed at the oceanfront Grace Bay Resort during the weeklong festival, which is co-executive-directed by former actress Jasmine Guy. She was there to receive the Rising Star award.

Our source said Bynes skipped “every single” event she was supposed to appear at and bailed on joining a celebrity boat cruise with Michael Clarke Duncan and Gabrielle Union. When Guy eventually confronted Bynes about it, she was prevented from speaking directly to her and Bynes was acting “ridiculous,” we’re told.

“She was invited to show at the events,” the source said. “For someone to come down and play diva and only enjoy the island was irresponsible. Her people told us, ‘If Jasmine speaks to Amanda again, she’ll leave and not accept her award.’ Jasmine had no problem with Amanda’s ill feelings, she just thought she was disrespectful towards everybody.”

Amanda’s rep naturally has a different story. According to Leslie Sloane Zelnick, Amanda is totes a sweetheart.

“It’s absolutely not true. She is the nicest girl, she makes no demands, she was offered those tickets and her rooms by the festival. She even paid for all her own meals.”

One of Amanda’s homegirls claimed Jasmine behaved like a “drunken bitch” at the event. Of course she was. Didn’t these broads ever watch “A Different World?”
