Nicole Richie and baby-daddy Joel Madden were disheartened to learn their offer on a home in a gated community was denied by their potential neighbors. The couple placed a bid on a home in a Southern California community, but was quickly vetoed by the neighborhood committee.
When the mom-to-be heard that she and fiance Madden were denied by residents who were concerned about photographers hovering near their homes, “Nicole was livid because she loved the house,” the source says. “She thinks it’s a BS reason, but she couldn’t fight it.”
Perhaps they should try Paris Hilton’s old neighborhood? The folks on Kings Road seemed thrilled with the CNN helicopters during Paris’ arrest earlier this year.
