Despite sporting a huge white blob in her nose last night after a UK show, Amy Winehouse’s BFF, Pete Doherty, claimed the troubled singer is clean and sober. Pete said Amy is focusing on getting her cracky husband out of jail in time for Christmas.

Doherty said: “I speak to Amy almost every day. She just wants her man back for Christmas. They are desperately in love.

“One good thing is that Blake has got clean since he has been in prison. It’s been quite an awakening. Amy stopped doing everything since he went in. She realises how much they have to lose. They are going to lose each other if it carries on. Love, music and melody is the way forward.”

Dear Baby Jesus of Christmas (if there is such a thing, whatev): if I could have one wish for Christmas, please let Pete Doherty impregnate Amy Winehouse while her husband is in prison. CW needs lulz, and this would bring a non-stop flow. Thnx.
