Police charged Birdman, along with 16 other people, with possession of marijuana yesterday in Tennessee after the rapper was pulled over in an RV for making an improper lane change.

Police claimed they could smell pot wafting out of the RV during a search, and later found a pound of it in the RV’s trashcan. Also found during the search: an assault rifle, a handgun and a magazine for a .45-caliber handgun.

As of this morning, Birdman, aka Bryan Williams, along with his posse, remained in jail.

OT: every time I think of going to jail in a southern state, I think of that scene in Requiem for a Dream when  Jared Leto and Marlon Wayans get arrested and they’re going through withdraws and throwing up and shit. Gross. I should stop watching movies that bum me out.
