Kiefer Sutherland surrendered himself to the Glendale City Jail last night to start his 48 day jail stint. The “24″ star will serve the sentence in two separate stints, rather than 48 days straight, as to allow for production to go on for the hit Fox TV show.
Kiefer pleaded no contest to DUI charges last October. At the time of his arrest, he was still on probation for a 2004 arrest.

Funny how non-celebs get to sit their sentence in one go but god forbid film production be halted coz the star of the show can’t keep his passion for the grog under control. For shame.

Eh, he’ll be finished with his sentence in 3 days. I mean isn’t time all relative for a celeb? Especially jail time?
