Amy Winehouse reportedly put off rehab once again. Although the singer promised to check into a facility after the end of her last tour, Amy said she’s going to wait until after the New Year to seek help.
But before rehab, she wants to have a totally killer party.
“She’s going to throw a party over Christmas, which will probably be a messy affair.” Amy, whose husband Blake, 25, is in jail awaiting trial for assault, suffered a drug overdose in August and briefly attended a rehab centre in Essex.
Her pal said: “Things have got worse for Amy since Blake was jailed.
“She’s been taking more drugs than ever. It’s become like having a cup of tea.”
Amy told friends she has made plans to check into a one-week rehab and detox treatment course in Israel in January. Homegirl probably needs more than just one week, dontcha think?

I think she probably needs at least a month in intensive detox and then she can work on rehab for the rest of the year. It’s going to take a LONG time to get all of that out of her system.

She most definitely needs longer than one week. If she’s doing heroin, she’ll still be sick after a week, and there’s nothing in the world a sick junkie wants more than to get a fix. Only a highly determined individual can stay clean under those circumstances. But if she’s planning on putting off detox so she can have a blowout bash, she’s not there yet, she’s not ready. Sadly, the way her track record is, she may never get the chance to get there. I hope she invites some paramedics to her Christmas party…

I don’t see anything good coming from her Christmas blowout. She’ll soon be a footnote in music history.
