Lily Allen’s rep confirmed that the Brit singer is expecting her first child with boyfriend Ed Simons from the Chemical Brothers.

Her spokesman said today: “I am pleased to confirm that Lily and Ed are expecting their first baby.

“The health of Lily and her child is their paramount concern. As the pregnancy is at such an early stage the couple will be making no further comment, but they are obviously thrilled by the news.”

If the health of her child is her “paramount concern,” perhaps she should lay off the cigarettes: the above photo of Lily smoking was taken December 4.
