Although initial reports suggested that Lynne Spears’ Christian book publisher decided not to publish her parenting book, it now looks as though the book might hit shelves after all.

After it was reported that Lynne’s 16 year old daughter Jamie Lynn was pregnant, the publisher said they weren’t sure if Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame in a Tabloid World would be released. They have since back-peddled and claimed they will go through with the publication, but Lindsay Nobles, a rep for publisher Thomas Nelson, said they’re not sure when it will be released.

“We don’t know. We don’t have a new publication date. It is still in the process of being written.”

Nobles was quick to point out that the book isn’t a guide to raising children, but instead Lynne’s memoir.

“It is her memoir, not a parenting book.”

“Lynne’s remarkable story will provide a window into the real-life world of fame and worldly success, including the terrible toll it extracts from those who aspire to it,” Michael Hyatt, the president of Thomas Nelson said. ”Though the book has been delayed, we believe God is at work.”

“The story is still being written, and we are confident in His ability to turn ashes into beauty.”

Wait… what? God is helping edit and publish books nowadays? Perhaps He should work on preventing teenage pregnancy, if He’s trying to find something to micromanage.

This book should not be published. Really, what the hell does this woman really know about parenting? I mean her kids are all messed up so why should anyone listen to what she has to say about raising them?
Maybe as a How NOT to.
