Although it’s been over ten years since Hilary Swank completed a sixteen-episode stint as a single mom on Fox’s “Beverly Hills 90210,” the Oscar-winner is still bitter about being fired from the show.
“They never told me why, they just said it wasn’t working. Especially when it’s in its eighth season and no one’s watching it. You just think, ‘I’m not good enough for this show?’”
I don’t recall Hilary appearing on the show, but I’m guessing since she played a single mom, she was Brandon’s love interest. For some reason, they always hooked him up with every token character that landed in Beverly Hills: token single mom, token black girl, token meth head. It was very strange.

I didn’t know she was on it either. Of course, I didn’t watch 90210. I was more of a Melrose Place kind of gal.
