Nicole Richie reportedly sold her West Hollywood condo, and moved into boyfriend Joel Madden’s Glendale home. The couple are expecting their first child, and searching for the perfect home in Los Angeles, as well as Manhattan.
Nicole purchased her 2,246 square foot condo, which she once shared with former fiance DJ AM, in 2005 for $1.18 million. According to Page Six, Nicole recently sold the home for $2.25 million.

Page Six is ridiculous. There is no way a 2,200 SF condo in West Hollywood sold for over $2 million in this market. That’s like a thousand bucks a foot. I call bullshit.

Call it whatever you want. It sold for 2.23mil and was over 2,200 SF. This market means nothing to people who pay for things in cash and who have the money to purchase the things they want when they want them. Normally these blogs are full of shit, but this piece of info is public record just go look it up.

^^^You may not be aware that those “public records” are just unverified information put there by realtors and PR people. There is no public disclosure requirement for sales of real estate, particularly if they cash transactions as you assert this one to be. Just for fun I looked at few current listings in that area and found that for a little over $2 million you can get a 5 bedroom house in the Hollywood Hills or a ten unit apartment building in West Hollywood.^^^

Well well, it looks like we have a little pissing match going on. I don’t give a shit what she sold it for. I’m sure someone out there was willing to pay top dollar simply so they could say that they bought Nicole Richie’s old house.
