Christina Aguilera held a bris ceremony at her Beverly Hills home on January 20 for her newborn son, Max Liron Bratman. Following Jewish tradition, a Hebrew baby undergoes a circumcision and baby-naming ceremony on the eighth day after he is born.
Hopefully we won’t being seeing any photos from the event.

Does Christina have any plans to convert, I wonder?
Not that it matters, but it’s nice to see her following her husband’s religion like she is.

Yeah, also according to Jewish tradition, that baby isn’t a Jew unless the mom is. Sorry, Max- you’ll need halakhic conversion.

Goodness me. So much contention and disagreement over a simple circumcision. If mommy and daddy say little Max is Jewish, then so be it. Halakhic conversion, blah blah blah…. When it really boils down to it, the little boy is what he wants to be. Doctrine is what keeps people from choosing a faith.
