Michelle Williams ‘Devastated’ by Ledger’s Death

In the wake of her former fiance’s death, friends claimed Michelle Williams is “devastated.” Michelle was filming in Sweden when she learned Heath Ledger died.
“She’s devastated,” says a source close to the 27-year-old actress.
Although their three-year relationship didn’t last, Williams and Ledger could always agree that their daughter comes first.
“He was absolutely in love with his daughter,” says another source. “And he really liked what he did [acting]. He spoiled [Matilda] rotten. He was playful and very funny with her.”
The source adds: “I can’t believe Matilda is going to grow up without a dad, without knowing her father. And that Michelle will have to deal with having a daughter who’s lost her father. She’s a survivor. She’ll make it, but it’s going to be hard. Her first concern is going to be Matilda.”
A toxicology report will not be available for weeks, but police sources told Page Six that Heath had three prescription pill bottles in his apartment. The bottles reportedly contained antidepressants and Ambien.

My official prediction is that some kinda white powder is involved. People don’t die from Ambien.

OK, I was right. TMZ is now reporting that “white powder” (their words) and a rolled up bill were found in Heath Ledger’s apartment.

Im so upset about all of this. Just can’t take it in at all, its just devastating news. Such a waste, its just heartbreaking, to think that little girl will never get to know her dad I just can’t believe it.

somehow i always imagined/hoped those two would get back together. they just seemed like a lovely couple. what a loss. god bless his little girl.

I really wish everyone would stop making their own assumptions as to how Heath Ledger died. He was a great actor and appeared to be a great father. He deserves to rest in peace and his family deserves to grieve in peace, without different stories coming out each day that are made up by people who having nothing better to do with their time.
