Johnny Depp will reportedly replace Heath Ledger in Terry Gilliam’s film “The Imaginarium of Doctor Paranassus.” Heath was six weeks from finishing the film when he died in NYC this week.
A studio source said: “There is a point in the film when Heath falls through a magic mirror. He could change into another character after that and that is where Johnny would come in.
“It’s a weird, fantasy, time-travel movie so Heath’s character could easily change appearance. It would be a poignant moment.
“Johnny’s not working at the moment so everyone is praying he will do it.”
Production in London shut down after Heath’s death, and many worried the science fiction film would never be finished.

How about Orlando Bloom? He and Heath are closer to the same age than Jonny Depp who is in his 40’s. Why is it always stupid Jonny Depp.
