Preggo Jessica Alba attended the G’Day USA: Australia Week 2008 dinner gala at the Waldorf Astoria in NYC on Saturday. Although I have no idea what a California native was doing at a black tie event “attended by 1,000 prominent Australian and American arts, philanthropic, government and business executives,” she looked lovely and managed not to frown for the first time in years, so I guess I’ll give her props for that.

While at the event, Jessica chatted with “Nip/Tuck” star Julian McMahon.
