Although she was reportedly under the impression that she would be released last night, doctors at the UCLA Medical Center psych ward extended Britney Spears’ 72 hour 5150 hold to 14 days.
It’s an internal process — done without a court order. But we’re told it will indeed happen, and that’s not surprising given her mental health. As we first reported, Britney’s been diagnosed with severe bipolar disorder.
In other Britney news, her father Jamie reported a robbery at her Beverly Hills home on Friday. The LAPD took a report from the singer’s parents, claiming several valuable items went missing since Britney was admitted to the hospital on Thursday.
The source says Spears’ father Jamie and mother Lynne were “shocked” to find that the valuable items “had been stolen” after they returned to the house following yesterday’s emergency hearing where Jamie won legal control over his daughter.
They then called police and filed a report.
Los Angeles Police officer Alex Martinez confirmed to Us that police had responded to a call at Spears’ house, but did not know what had transpired.
“The report is being processed through our system,” he said. “We do not have access to it.”

Hopefully she’ll take the extra days to get herself together and determine on her own that she needs help.

I guess the vultures have picked over the carcass already. Sounds like somebody decided to “Clean Out” the house before the parents arrived. Stuff gone missing? Like, how would they know what’s in her house? Half that stuff was probably given to her for publicity, and never paid for. Girl was known for picking random stuff up all the time. She used designer dresses to clean up doggy doo. Check the trash bin people! I’ll bet it all got either dumpstered or carted off by “Her People/Friends” before the parents got there. It was probably like cleaning up after a weekend party before the parents got home. A broken lamp gone missing and a few stains on the carpet are normal. However we’re talking about Brit here. So I would not be surprised at “Finding” or “Not Finding” anything in that place.

I’m guessing Sam went on a “cleaning spree” because he knows his time as her hanger on is about to come to an end and wanted to get whatever he could.
