After much begging and pleading, Amy Winehouse reportedly scored her dream gig singing the theme to the next James Bond film.
Amy will write and sing the theme song for the new film Quantum of Solace — as long as she can stay sober.
She just tied the job up after months of high level talks about her mental state and drug problems. But Her Majesty’s Secret Service can still pull out of the deal by April if she relapses.
I don’t see homegirl staying sober, so I guess we can look forward to Duran Duran doing “A View to a Kill Pt. 2.”

Duh, her non-sobriety is part of her genius. I don’t like or trust sXe musicians. The b!tch can sing…I just hope she’s recording it NOW as her chances of death seem to be inceasing daily.
Dare I say she could rival Shirley Bassey’s Bond songs? Ok, probably not, but she’d be awfully close.
