Lindsay Lohan recreated Marilyn Monroe’s last nude photo shoot for the Spring issue of New York Magazine. The starlet completely stripped down in order to capture Marilyn’s 1962 with Bert Stern, who also shot Lindsay for the spread earlier this month at the Hotel Bel-Air.
When it came to being nude before the camera, “I was comfortable with it,” says Lohan, 21 (Monroe was 36 in 1962, the year she died), though Lindsay does admit to having done “250 crunches” the night before the shoot.
There was also no avoiding the parallels between Monroe’s tragic fate, dead from an accidental overdose of prescription medicines, and that, recently, of Heath Ledger’s.
“They are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone,” says Lohan.
When it is pointed out to Lohan, who has been in rehab three times, that the possibility may exist of a similar fate for her, the young actress replies with a tinge of annoyance: “I don’t know. I’m not them. But I sure as hell wouldn’t let it happen to me.”
Umkay, I’m not so sure about that.
Anyhoo, the photos after the cut are NSFW and oddly not that flattering, according to me, at least.

I look about as much like Marilyn Monroe as that skank does. She really doesn’t even look that great naked. This is where the desperation kicks in. Bookmark this commemt Alyk, I give it a year tops before the Playboy spread hits. Within two years she’ll be hosting some show like Tara Reid had on the E Channel.

Wow, in all honesty these photos are NOT good. Really not good. Her face looks weird and I’m not even trying to compare her to Marilyn. She looks like herself but with a bad wig on. I can’t say one good things about these photos. :-\
And I am so grossed out by how freckly her thighs are it’s not even funny. BLECH.

Her complexion isn’t a problem. The fact that they chose to put that tragic YELLOW hair on her is the real yuck.
I guess they’re trying to peddle her anyway they can now. To be honest, I’m much happier w/her modeling than I am w/her so-called acting and ignominous singing. Steady on, LiLo.

Wow not flattering at all.
Odd that she was chosen for these pics, I think it just adds to the fact that she is NOT Marilyn Monroe.
She is totally deluding herself if she thinks she can’t overdose as well. And if the rumors that she is off the wagon again, then itsonly a matter of time. And once again we come back to the fact she is not Marylin Monroe, Lindsay Lohan’s legacy….Herbie Fully Loaded. Enough said.

I’m glad that I’m not the only one that thinks she looks horrible. Honestly she looks awful and it’s not a tribute to Marilyn, it’s a horrible imitation.
That hair is horrible on her and her attitude towards drugs is just stupid. Yeah Lindsay, it’ll NEVER happen to you.
And I agree with RubberSoul, he looks as much like Marilyn as Lindsay does.

I can’t believe how visible the wig line is in the 3rd photo. Crazy. You’d think they would at least clean that up..
