After a bit of debate, Amy Winehouse signed on to perform at the Brit Awards tonight in London. Amy will sing “Valerie,” alongside Mark Ronson. The track from Mark’s disc Version is up for Best British Single.
“We are just thrilled to have her appearing at the ceremony,” Brits’ chairman Ged Doherty told U.K.’s Sky News. “We think that her performance will be one of those ‘Brit moments’ and it’s part of a really strong line-up.”
Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne are scheduled to host the ceremony.
I have no clue where US audiences can see the show, but I’ll check around. Give me a heads up if you know what US channel it will air on!
