We might see Britney Spears on CBS again soon: after garnering “How I Met Your Mother” it’s highest rating ever, the singer is reportedly in talks to reprise her guest-starring role as Abby, the dermatology receptionist.
One insider said, “It all depends on her availability.”
CBS and the studio that produces the show, 20th Century Fox Television, declined comment on the report.
Spears’ appearance on “Mother” last month drew 10.6 million viewers — up from its season-to-date average of 7.8 million, according to Nielsen Media Research.
In other Britney news, her newly-reunited manager, Larry Rudolph, claimed this week that Britters is “on the right path” and “doing great.”

Well then clear her calender. This maybe the best gig she’s had in a year. I’m glad Larry’s back. Usually I loathe Hollywood people but I hope things turn out for Brit.

TV is a STEP DOWN from her previous glory, so what’s the great feat here? Genuinely talented people who work harder deserve praise, not her. She can’t even take care of her own kids or pets. When she can accomplish that, I’ll see about throwing her a milkbone.

Actually, I don’t give a shit about her or her career, I just hope she gets healthy again so she can parent the kids she chose to bring into the world.

um…. everyone realizes the ratings are because people are hoping she’ll crash and burn, right? if she cleans up her act she won’t be news anymore. not saying she should be news now, but you know what i mean.
