Amy Winehouse’s record label is reportedly bummed that the singer has staled plans to record her third album. Island Records booked Amy some time at a recording studio in the Bahamas last month, but she canceled at the last minute.

A pal revealed: “Island wanted to get her away from it all and thought it would be great surroundings for her.

“It was a very expensive trip and it was hoped they would make some decent progress recording the album. But Amy pulled out at the last minute.

“The album was planned for late 2008, but her label is now privately admitting it’s unlikely to happen until 2009.

“She’s not the kind of artist you can just stick in the studio for a month and get an album done. And I now think early 2009 would be a good result.”

It’s not all bad news from our Wino: she’s currently recording the new Bond theme with Mark Ronson.
