While working the press line at a screening of her new movie “The Life Behind Her Eyes,” Evan Rachel Wood took time to discuss her horrible tattoos. The 20 year old actress said she and boyfriend Marilyn Manson got matching heart tattoos to symbolize their deep and everlasting love.

“It’s a lightning bolt for David Bowie. And it has a black valentine heart around it,” she said. “Marilyn has a black heart on his wrist and I have a black heart. We got them on Valentine’s Day.”

Wood still has a “J” tattooed on one ankle, and her old boyfriend, Jamie Bell, has a tattoo of an “E” leftover from their relationship.

As for what makes Manson good boyfriend material, Wood said, “He’s very, very romantic. And there is nothing sexier than rock and roll.”

Check out the cover up she did for the other tattoo on her ankle: after she completed work on “Across the Universe,” she commemorated her role in the film with a Beatles tattoo of diamonds, a blackbird, and strawberries on her ankle. Unfortch, the tattoo ended up looking like a blotchy mess, so she had it covered up with a big, black diamond. Nice.
