In a Los Angeles courtroom yesterday, a judge ruled that a restraining order against Sam Lutfi will be extended. Former manager Sam must stay at least 250 yards away from his client Britney Spears until at least July. Through his rep, Sam said he understands the decision made by Britney’s family, and will not attempt to interfere.

“Sam and the family are communicating and cooperating trying to do whats best for Britney,” Lutfi’s spokesman, Michael Sands, said in a statement to Usmagazine.com.

Without Sam around, Britney has kept busy: her newly-reinstated manager Larry Rudolph claimed Britney returned the recording studio, because “she just wanted to go in and tinker around.”
